At Secret Cinema, participants are not just viewers but active participants in the movie’s world. You are encouraged to dress up, interact with actors on set and fully immerse yourself into the movie’s script.
Surrounded by actors everywhere you go, you will have the opportunity to take part in mini scenarios dotted around the event to fully immerse yourself into the experience - Learn how to hand jive, go to cheerleader try outs or throw cream pie at the teachers, actors will actively encourage you to take part before watching the movie on the big screen.

After buying your ticket, you'll be invited to an exclusive website. You'll receive information regarding the secret location, your new identity, and outfit suggestions (However, I personally think you can find your outfit using Amazon rather than paying Secret Cinema’s prices - but it is handy to find ideas!).
We decided to pick Music Club (Mainly because I already had some Black Aviators, Leather Jacket and Black Clothes). All I needed was some red shoes and lipstick and I was all good to go.
If however, you decide to change your outfit last minute, do not worry. The exclusive website is just a nice little touch from secret cinema, you will not be held to your decision or ruin your experience if you decide to change your mind.
How to Get to Secret Cinema, NEC
Getting to the NEC by train: Birmingham International and then a 10 minute walk to the venue.
Getting to the NEC by Car: If you are staying overnight the MOXY (post here), you are able to use their designated parking (E5) for a fee. The Hotel is then a 7 minute walk.

How much is it & is Premium Plus worth the money?
Prices start from £39.00 for general admission, £79.00 for the premium package which includes skipping the queue for entry, a photo on arrival, food and drink vouchers, plus a special keepsake & 139.00 for premium plus which includes all of the above plus an additional tote bag, a bottle of champagne and a blanket. Prices at the weekend are slightly more.
