Taste Film, London
On Saturday Afternoon, myself and Ambs headed over to London to watch ’The Devil Wears Prada’ through the immersive dining experience, Taste Film.
According to Taste Film’s website, the company collaborates with well-rated restaurants and independent chefs to create bespoke ‘moment to meal’ menus which accompanies the screenings of cult-classic films.
The concept is simple yet effective. Enjoy a three course meal and two cocktails, hand-crafted and inspired by the film you are watching. As the film plays, food is carefully placed in front of you, mirroring what is being shown on screen. Pretty cool, huh?
At a price of £75.00, the experience can sound pretty steep however, for what you receive during the experience, I think it is extremely reasonable. But be quick, tickets for taste film go almost instantly so you need to be on the mark when it comes to picking up your ticket.
If you’re looking for a different kind of date night, evening with friends or a solo date with a twist, taste film may be the perfect thing for you. Let me share my experience from the screening of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ at The Refinery.
This post is all about Taste Film.

Once the lights went down, our first dish was out almost immediately (2 minutes to be exact!).
Our starter was a Smoked Salmon and Creamed Cheese Bagel, timed with Andrea’s arrival at the office with colleagues and individuals alike, claiming they can smell Onion Bagels.
Before we knew it, our first cocktail for the evening was ready and kindly placed in front of us.
A Starbucks themed drink with a carefully crafted topping, we received our Hot Vanilla Espresso Martini - timed with Andrea going on a Starbucks Coffee Run.
Next, was our second drink of the night.
Whilst Andrea drank with Christian in the penthouse, we too got our very own party punch (Although not exactly the same as Andrea’s drink).
Next was our main course.
As Andrea throws Miranda’s Steak in the Sink, we to had our very own Chimichuri Steak with Lyonnaise potatoes and Tender Stem Broccoli.
It was cooked to perfection and my favourite course of the evening.
Finally, we were in Paris for Fashion week and enjoyed a rich, chocolate Ganache.
Final Thoughts
I had a great time at Taste Film. I absolutely loved the concept, my steak was incredible and I had a lovely time making memories with one of my closest friends.
Personally, I’d like to go for a more creative taste film next. Looking at all the TikTok’s, they seem to be the most inventive and I will definitely be returning to experience more from Taste Film.
