Harry’s Dolce Vita, Kensington
I'm always on the hunt for London Restaurants and Harry's Dolce Vita, Knightsbridge is up there with one of my favourites. A beautiful Italian restaurant which sits a stone's throw away from the popular department store, Harrods.
Inspired by 1950's and 1960's Italian Glamour, Harry's can offer you a taste of Italy on the streets of Knightsbridge. Whether you want a romantic evening with a loved one, lunch on the patio with friends or a cocktail at the bar, Harry has got you covered.
Price: £££
Harry's is on average £50.00 per person for a three course meal and an alcoholic drink.
Service: ★★★★★
Quick and efficient whilst staff members were polite and welcoming.

Electric. The narrow space gives the restaurant an infectious buzz for a busy Saturday night.

An Evening with Harry
The restaurant itself is fairly narrow with individuals filling every table with seating spilling out onto the busy streets of Knightsbridge. Conversations of happy guests echo’s throughout the restaurant from the moment you arrive and the atmosphere is electric, giving a Saturday night buzz.
As a group of four, we decided to order a selection of starters to the table, allowing us to graze whilst we waited for our mains.
The Truffle Arancini - Fried Rice Balls with Truffle & Parmesan
Garlic & Rosemary Flat Bread - with Harry's Olive Oil
Provolone Fritti - Crispy fried provolone cheese, picante pomodoro sauce, datterini tomatoes, rocket and Parmesan
Zucchini Fritti - Crispy courgette with herbed yoghurt
For my main, I went for the Bistecca Di Manzo, a chargrilled dry aged 8oz sirloin steak served with rocket salad; datterini tomatoes and black garlic-balsamic dip. No matter where I go, I will always try to find a good steak.
and this one certainly met the bar. It cut like butter and was beautifully cooked.
Now for the show stopper, Harry's Toadstool. A beautiful dessert crafted with white chocolate, fresh raspberries, mascarpone mousse, iced vanilla parfait and pistachio biscotti crunch served with a warm pistachio sauce.
I went for the traditional Tiramisu. I refuse to go to an authentic Italian restaurant and not order my favourite dessert (however, I may be swayed to order Harry's Toadstool if I am lucky enough to visit Harry's a second time).
Until next time, Harry.
