Best Luxury 5 Star Hotel | Hotel Gotham, Manchester.
Looking for one of the Best Luxury 5 Star hotels in Manchester? For as long as I can remember, a hotel which has been on my bucket list for the longest time is Hotel Gotham in Manchester, situated on King’s Street.
Occupying one of the city’s grandest listed buildings and the former premises of Midland Bank, Hotel Gotham is a luxury 5 star hotel in the heart of Manchester. With only subtle nod’s to the Batman storyline and it’s previous banking past, the hotel holds more of a 1920’s, Art Deco feel with 60 bedrooms spread across seven floors, a restaurant and a bar.
Let me show you around the beautiful hotel that is HOTEL GOTHAM.

Located in the centre of Manchester, Hotel Gotham is situated on King Street with Manchester’s Arcade Shopping Centre a quick 3 minute walk away.
- 13 minute walk from Piccadilly Station.
Upon entry to Hotel Gotham, you are greeted by bell boys who offer you a warm welcome before directing you to the main reception desk on the sixth floor.
You may decide to take the stairs or the lift.
Whilst there is no on-site parking at Hotel Gotham, there are several 24-hour car parks in the area which are walking distance from the hotel.
Once we arrived at the check in desk, we were offered a welcome drink from staff members. I have no idea what was in it, but It tasted like a Lychee Liquor, not too bitter and not too sweet - extremely yummy.

As it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself to the Hotel Gotham Inner Sanctum Suite.
…and my goodness, isn’t he beautiful.
With black, leather-clad walls, no windows and a projected screen which projects a city skyline of your choice - this suite is definitely worth writing about.
Use the screen on the wall to pick a city view and set the ambience with music of your choice.
The mini bar sits neatly in a disguised wardrobe, yet opens out to an espresso machine, matching his and her mugs for your morning cup of coffee & a mini fridge.
